Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical tune-up take?
Most tune-ups are completed within 24–48 hours depending on current volume. Same-day turnaround is often available for simpler repairs like flat tires — I will work around your schedule to find a turnaround that works for you.
Do I drop off my bike, or do you come to me?
Both options are available: you can drop off your bike(s) at my location or for an additional $20, mobile service can provide pick up & drop off or service at your location — perfect for busy schedules or if your bike isn't rideable.
What types of bikes do you service?
Road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, cruisers, kids' bikes and trailers ("Burleys") are all welcome. Not sure? Reach out first and we can talk through your specific situation. Regarding e-bikes: I do not service "e-motos" but will provide limited services on class 1 e-bikes (pedal assist, no throttle).
How do I book a service?

What if my bike needs parts I don't have in stock?
An upfront assessment is included with every service. If additional parts are needed, you'll be informed of exactly what's required and the estimated cost before any work begins — no surprises, ever.
Is there a discount for families?
Absolutely. The Family Combo Wash & Tune covers the whole household for just $200 — a significant savings compared to individual pricing. It's the most popular option for families in the neighborhood.
Are there any Services you don't provide?
Yes, I defer working on Suspension forks and shocks, dropper posts, headset and bottom bracket replacements. Those services require a lot of specialty tools and parts to perform. I'm also not currently offering hydraulic brake bleeding service, but hope to do so in the future.
